Men's Retreat 2.0: FOOD

We had a BIG, GOOD breakfast.
The theme, after all, was FOOD.
Another Men's Retreat has come and gone. In the moment, I felt as though each componet of the retreat went very well. At the end, I was pretty mentally exhausted from weeks of preparing for the event in my mind, then a week of planning the food and arrangements, then a day of keeping up with cleaning, cooking, etc. But the feedback I've received so far has been nothing short of great. And really, it's not about me. This was the LORD's event.

Auntie Haley had a full day with Lincoln last week, and Grandma Laura made it back to Scottsdale safely yesterday. It's hard to believe that we'll be out there in 3.5 weeks. We've got to go somewhere warm!!! The weather here has been downright depressing. But getting back to Auntie Haley, if she chooses to go to Bowling Green, she'll only be 2.5 hours away from us, and we'll be able to make it to some of her games there, and certainly when she comes to play Akron & Kent State. Should we start saying, "Go Falcons!"? We'll find out soon enough.
