Childbirth class

Jenn and I went to the childbirth class yesterday at the hospital.  It was pretty good.  Jenn is the queen of being prepared, so everything that was presented she'd already come across in her reading, but it was good to have things re-enforced.  The showed three birth videos.  Uh, yeah.  We didn't need to see what we saw.  Lincoln was especially active and kicking in a painful way for Jenn, and she was uncomfortable for most of the day.  He wasn't so pain-inducing today, and Jenn was much more comfortable.

Jenn and I went to Easter worship on Saturday evening and then went to dinner with some new friends (with the Hopwood's Christmas gift to us... P.F. Chang's... yummmm!).  Easter dinner at Aunt Mary Sue's today was VERY GOOD!  Jenn especially enjoys eating at Aunt Mary Sue's place or whenever she's cooking.  The baked pineapples were pret-ty good.

We heard Michelle & Chris has a baby boy a few days ago.  Christopher Grady, and he'll go by Grady.  Sounds like a good attorney name.  "You need a good lawyer?  Give mine a call.  C. Grady Wisecup, he's a good one."  (Michelle was a classmate and good friend of ours at OSU.)

Lincoln's arrival is approaching.  We're in the process of getting everything in order around the house, and things are getting close.  We're also trying to get as ready mentally as we can be.  Jenn's been doing okay with her busy schedule at work.  When she has had especially busy days, she's experienced a lot of contractions.  In your prayers, ask the LORD to grant Jenn rest, both with helping her to sleep well at night and to not be too terribly busy at work during the day.

Keep your head up, Haley!  We're praying for you.

Tomorrow is Jenn's birthday.  Yea!
